I haven't written many songs in the last few years, but I have quite a few songs I wrote about 10 years ago that have been collecting dust. I believe God has always desired me to do something with those songs (they're Christian\/faith-based songs), but life and finances have yet to allow for it. But, I'm entering a season where I do believe God is calling me to pick the songs up again and begin getting them ready for recording.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI personally do not have any musicians in my life (anymore), so in order to get these songs recorded, I'll need to work with producers remotely - I've located a few on a site called Sound Better, that I believe would be great for the task and have the sound I'm looking for. They will be able to not only produce the songs, but record each instrument's part, mix the sounds professionally together, and prepare the audio files for my vocals (which I will record in a studio nearby where I live). \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eSo... as odd as it feels to put this out there (as I very much dislike asking for donations ever), I'm asking that whoever may feel led to assist, to just give whatever you'd like to and are able to. My hope is that by the end of the year (2026) I can have all the creative prep work done for about 8 to 10 songs, and to spend the rest of this year saving and raising funds to get them produced (which will likely be $1,000 to $2,000 per song). Then hopefully, I'll have what I need to then begin the production process in early 2027 and record no later than summer of 2027 (which will likely be about $2,000 to $5,000 additional costs for studio time).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIt feels like a lofty dream, but I am just moving forward in a way I feel is being obedient to what God is asking of me. Sadly, money is a barrier to getting it done, so... here we are. But, whatever amount I'm personally able to save alongside your donations is what I will produce in the end. So, if it's one song or all 8 to 10, I'll do whatever I'm financially able to do. \u0026lt;3\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe goal from this is never to become some big time artists (as that just doesn't fit with my life or my personal aspirations), but to simply put the songs I believe God gave me out into the world in a way that represents Him well - professional and high-quality (at a reasonable price).
